Tip n°1 : Choose the right shade

5 colors in the Concord range (giant flat look tiles) and 4 colors in the Effex range (giant velvet look tiles) are available.
These colors, mottled and / or dark, are very well suited for sports floors potection of sports floors where traffic is occasionally intense.
You can choose a single color to protect your sports floor or several colors to define traffic areas or to create a graphic effect.
For example, you can delimit a VIP area with tiles of a different color (red for example) or choose to give a checkerboard effect with an alternation of 2 colors.

Trick: At the entrance of the gym, avoid colors that are too light or put a mat at the entrance of your room to leave the dirt outside.

tip n°2 : Laying the tiles ... child's play!

Do you need to cover your sports floor before a non-sporting event?
No panic. The installation is very easy.
You don’t need to hire experienced staff.
Simply lay the 1st row of tiles along the wall or, if there is no wall, put a double-sided on the back of the tiles composing the 1st row. Then assemble the tiles by simply laying them on after the other. The tiles are self-laying and stay in place without adhesive… and that’s it!

Need cutouts? Nos problem, you can cut the tiles very easily using a cutter.

Note: to avoid the checkerboard effect, lay the tiles in the same direction ( see the arrows printed on the back of the tile).

tip n°3 : maintenance

Concord and Effex tiles are very easy to maintain. On the other hand, stains and dirt must be cleaned quickly to prevent them from becoming embedded in the fibers.
To maintain their appearance and prolong their lifespan, remember to clean them systematically after use.

Dusting
A simple vacuum with a conventional vacuum cleaner is enough to remove dust and some stains that settle more or less deeply in the fibers. You will preferably use a vacuum cleaner placed in the brush position: it thus raises the fibres and allows a better efficiency. If the fibers are not regularly lifted by brushing, the abrasive particles (small gravel brought by traffic) may remain embedded in the tile.

Cleaning
You can also wash the tiles with a water jet to remove more difficult stains and use a carpet shampoo.

Tip: Thoroughly dry the tiles after washing with water to avoid the appearance of halos

Renovation
Tiles are modular and can be easily replaced in the event of deep stain or cigarette burns. It is therefore wise to always provide spare tiles when ordering.
The new tile may not look exactly like the one being replaced, but a few weeks later, you will find that its appearance will blend in with that of the others
